Happy Hours
BASF Staff Club regularly organizes various activities to enrich employee’s leisure time: BASF sports day, family outings, and annual dinner etc. Through these activities, our employees are more closely connected in the big family.

Professional Visual BASF Global Family
BASF Global Family is an international vacation exchange program for the children, aged from 14 to 19, of BASF employees worldwide. The child participating in the program will be paired with another child from a BASF family in another country, and spend two weeks of vacation with the partner family. On one hand, Global Family program has increased the communication among employees in different countries. On the other hand, it is also an important mechanism responding to future challenges in globalization.

C.A.R.E Initiative
BASF places great emphasis on employees’ health and safety. In 2008, BASF launched a new initiative called C.A.R.E in Asia Pacific to further enhance the company's safety culture. Around 1,100 BASF employees participated in the activity and it was successfully promoted to other production sites afterwards. C.A.R.E stands for four areas which are crucial for improving safety: Communication about safety issues, Awareness of risks, Responsibility for safe working environment and Excellence in safe behavior.

Through the Open Day program, families of BASF employees get to know more about the company’s operations in Greater China and the safe environment of BASF work place.
